Microsoft Security Consultant

INTRO

Resilient Security makes organizations resilient against cyber threats and operational risks.

As a Microsoft Security Consultant, you help customers design their Microsoft environments to be secure, scalable, and future-proof, with a strong focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM). You act as the bridge between Microsoft Security, cloud platforms, and identity solutions, and play a key role in building secure cloud and identity architectures.

YOUR JOB

As a Microsoft Security Consultant, you contribute to securing Azure and Microsoft environments for our customers.
You help set up, improve, and manage identity and security solutions.
You think along with customers to improve their security posture based on Microsoft security technologies.
You support the implementation of Microsoft security solutions such as Entra ID (Azure AD), Defender XDR, Purview, and Sentinel.
You collaborate with colleagues on security and cloud projects and gradually grow toward a more advisory or architectural role.
You get the opportunity to further specialize in Microsoft Security, IAM, and cloud security best practices.
You follow new developments within Microsoft Security and apply them in practice.

WHO ARE YOU?

You have a solid basic knowledge of Azure and/or Microsoft platforms and an interest in security.
You are familiar with identity concepts (such as users, roles, and access) or are eager to further specialize in this area.
You don’t need to be an IAM expert yet, but you are motivated to grow into one.
You work in a structured way, think solution-oriented, and are eager to learn.
You feel comfortable in a technical role with customer interaction.
You communicate fluently in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
You take responsibility and show initiative.

Certifications that strongly match (or that you want to grow toward):

Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
Microsoft Security / Identity certifications (AZ and SC track)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
• Microsoft 365 Security / Enterprise certifications
• CISSP, CCNA/CyberOps are a plus
